Often run into trouble around wave 40 - 80, when it kills Battering Rams so late that the units inside of it make it to the exit. Still, much, much weaker than putting the money into Inferno trap. Build the 3 ultimate traps around a booster lightning trap. Often combined with freeze trap, possibly bolt trap with +30 % extra lightning damage taken. Lightning: With gear for 3 ultimate lightning traps, +3 extra jumps, fast rearming, extra stun duration.My Bombs are destroying everything without a challenge, something in the neighborhood of 640 damage, and I can deploy roughly 4. I've got a Vaxxal with +316 damage and +19 rearm speed, 10/10 points in Forging, and +13 in permanent Consumable mastery (30 total). I've cleared 19 'story' maps (and not one item-spawned one yet) and am level 27. However the traps I needed for Flying Machine and Battering Rams would have killed those too, so I could have just disbanded my singularity and it would still have worked. I cleared my save data and started fresh for 1.0.5. "Brute Force" maxed, of course.ĭon't get me wrong, I had games with ~ 100 waves where I killed 95 % with singularity. Extra traps for Battering Ram? That works, but anything that kills them, kills anything else, so no point for all the other force based traps then. Force to push them into a hazard: Singularity, Harpoon, Push, Bola (with +100 % strength), Spring, Axe with +100 % force: Works great! But not against Battering Ram after wave 50, so the whole great plan fails due to this one enemy.I noticed that for any tough situation, I end up using almost only Inferno trap + Slime trap, spiced up only by one each (due to the massive bonus from Elite tree Singularity) of Axe, Rocket (often as last resort near exit, often against air), Push and Bola (also 1 only, shooting more than once per second, 70 % lasting slow, extra damage taken).Īnything else fails to keep up at tough situations: In Dungeon Warfare 2, I'm currently level 176, playing maps with roughly 127 waves, my main traps around level 65.
